Job summary

Operam Education is partnering with a warm primary school in Havering to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant. The role is full-time and starts as soon as possible, with potential to continue into the next academic year.

You will provide one-to-one support for a Year 1 pupil with ASD, drawing on hands-on experience in Early Years education. You will work closely with teachers to implement support plans, help pupils access learning, and maintain a positive, safeguarding-focused classroom

Job Summary

We are partnering with a warm, welcoming, and inclusive primary school in Havering that is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide one-to‑one support for a Year 1 pupil with ASD. Key Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant

• Support pupils with their learning in class, in small groups, and on a one‑to‑one basis.
• Work closely with pupils with SEN, helping them access learning and follow support plans.
• Assist the teacher with classroom activities and behaviour management.
• Observe pupils' progress and provide feedback to the teacher when needed.
