Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Havering. You will work closely with class teachers to support pupils' learning, reinforce literacy and numeracy, and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

You will typically support individuals or small groups while helping teachers deliver lessons and activities. The role is full-time, term-time only, with a daily rate of £90-£105 and an ASAP start.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning in subjects such as literacy and numeracy.


• Assist pupils who require additional support, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).


• Help prepare classroom materials, learning resources, and displays.


• Encourage positive behaviour and support classroom management.


• Monitor pupils' progress and report feedback to the teacher.


• Assist with supervision during break times, school trips, and other activities.
