In this role, you will work alongside classroom teachers to provide support for students, both individually and in small groups, helping them reach their full potential. You will assist with planning and delivering lessons, ensuring that students are engaged and able to access the curriculum effectively. This role begins September 2025.

Duties as a Teaching Assistant:

1. Assist in delivering lessons to small groups or individual students as directed by the class teacher.
2. Support students with their learning, including providing additional help to those with special educational needs.
3. Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
4. Prepare classroom resources and assist in maintaining a safe and well-organised learning space.
5. Support the teacher with administrative tasks and student assessments as required.

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

• GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
• A positive attitude and a desire to help children succeed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students.
