Job summary

Connect Multi-Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to work closely with teachers and the SENDCO to support pupils with a range of needs, including ASC, SEMH and communication needs.

You will hold a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) with GCSE English and Maths, and you will bring experience in a school setting, excellent communication, and a nurturing, inclusive approach.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
• Experience working with children in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASC, SEMH and communication needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and the SENDCO to plan and deliver targeted support.
• Maintain a patient, nurturing approach to help pupils access learning outcomes.
• Promote an inclusive environment and monitor pupil progress.
