Job description

Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Passionate about supporting young people and helping them succeed.
  • Patient, resilient and empathetic.
  • Confident building positive relationships with challenging or disengaged pupils.
  • Able to remain calm and consistent when faced with difficult behaviour.A strong communicator who can work effectively as part of a wider school team.
  • Motivated to make a real difference to pupils who may have previously struggled within education.
  • Previous experience working with children or young people is highly desirable.
  • Experience within a school, SEN, pastoral, youth work or support setting would be particularly beneficial, although the school will consider candidates with the right attitude, personality and transferable skills.
