Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd. is recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to work with Our Lady of Compassion in Solihull, with opportunities to support pupils with additional needs in related classrooms across Solihull and Birmingham.

We are seeking patient, compassionate individuals who can help children reach their potential, including those with autism, ADHD or physical disabilities, in KS1 and KS2 settings. If you are passionate about inclusion and education, contact us for immediate opportunities

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher or experienced Teaching Assistant seeking opportunities in education.
• Experience supporting children with additional needs, autism, ADHD, or physical disabilities.
• Experience with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in SEND settings is desirable.
• Commitment to supporting children's learning and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Support SEND pupils to access learning in classroom and small groups.
• Assist lead teachers and SENCO in delivering tailored activities.
• Promote inclusive practices and monitoring progress.

At The Supply Register, we work as a managed service, supporting schools across the Our Lady and Lourdes Company Catholic Multi-Academy Trust in Solihull and Birmingham.

We are currently working exclusively with Our Lady of Compassion in Solihull, who are looking to recruit passionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to support children with additional needs.

We’re particularly keen to speak to:

• SEND Teaching Assistants looking to develop their experience within an educational setting.


• Professionals with experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, physical disabilities and other additional needs.


• Individuals who have worked with vulnerable children across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, including within specialist SEND settings.
