Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils in Guisborough secondary schools. The role covers delivering targeted interventions, assisting teachers, and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Salary: Daily rate: £94 - £105 depending on experience

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants (TAs)within secondary schools around Guisborough, starting in September and on and ongoing basis.

The Role

• Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group interventions to support student progress
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Support classroom management and contribute to a focused learning atmosphere

Who We're Looking For

• Experienceworking as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or in a similar educational support role.
• A genuine interest in working with young people and pursuing a career in education
• An understanding of SEND needs (such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language) is highly desirable
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one, as well as satisfactory background checks
