Job summary

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to support a range of secondary schools across the Rusholme & Fallowfield area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking flexible work, to gain experience in different school settings, or secure a longer-term position.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support students across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 in some settings), work with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, and provide one-to-one and small group support.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people (school, tutoring, coaching, youth work, etc.)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and adaptable approach
• A genuine passion for supporting students' learning and development
• Confidence across a variety of subjects (core subject strengths desirable)

Responsibilities

• Support students across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 in some settings)

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to support a range of secondary schools across the Rusholme & Fallowfield area. We have a opportunities available, including day-to-day supply, short-term cover, and long-term placements in a variety of different schools ranging from independent single-sex schools to mainstream schools.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work, to gain experience in different school settings, or secure a longer-term position.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 in some settings)
• Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils

Assignments may vary depending on the school, but flexibility and adaptability are key.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2/3 or equivalent)
