SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Milton Keynes

Location: Milton Keynes

Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only

Hours: 8:30am–3:30pm (with some flexibility of up to 45 minutes)

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in a welcoming and well-regarded school in Milton Keynes. This is a full-time, term-time position ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with children to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored 1:1 or small group support to students with SEN
  • Assist with learning activities and engagement during lessons
  • Support pupils during breaks and lunchtimes
  • Help maintain a safe, organised, and inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider school team

Ideal candidates will:

  • Have experience supporting children with SEN (preferred but not required)
  • Be patient, committed, and enthusiastic
  • Be proactive and confident using their initiative
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Have permanent UK residency (required)
