Job summary

Academics is seeking dedicated teaching assistants for September across the Macclesfield area, offering flexible short-term placements or day-to-day supply to fit around your commitments.

You'll work with a range of primary schools, building strong relationships with staff and pupils, with support from a dedicated consultant and competitive daily rates; opportunities for longer-term progression may arise.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 Childcare qualifications are required.
• Experience in primary UK schools is preferred.
• Able to commute to Cheshire/Greater Manchester.

Job description

Are you a dedicated teaching assistant looking for a new opportunity this September? With short term placements, or day-to-day supply that provides great flexibility around other commitments, Academics can help you experience a range of schools across the Macclesfield area.

We are working with a number of schools who will welcome teaching assistants who can build strong relationships with their staff and students, whilst making a difference in children's learning and adding to the positive classroom environment.

What we're looking for:

• Candidates with a Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification
• Experience supporting children in primary schools in the UK
• Candidates able to commute to the Cheshire/Greater Manchester area
• Experience supporting children with SEN
• A positive attitude
• Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and students
