Are you a compassionate and reliable Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children?

A well-regarded and inclusive primary school in Woodford Green is seeking a committed and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils who need your help the most and make a lasting difference in their education and development.

The Role:

  • Work closely with class teachers to support pupils.

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support, both in and out of the classroom

  • Adapt learning activities to suit the individual needs of pupils

  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

  • Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 months of experience working in a UK school setting (paid or voluntary)

  • Proven experience supporting children with SEN (e.g., autism, ADHD, speech and language needs)

  • Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic nature

  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and outside agencies

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3 or equivalent) are desirable
