Graduate Teaching Assistant – Brent

Clarus Education are here to help! We are currently working in partnership with a fantastic Brent Secondary school searching for caring and driven individuals who are keen to spend time as a Graduate Teaching Assistant starting in September.

What is required of a Graduate Teaching Assistant?

All Teaching Assistants should be qualified and comfortable working with young children. Active listening skills, creativity and genuine enjoyment of children are all beneficial for this position. A successful Teaching Assistant will also have various prerequisite skills and qualifications which typically include:

  • Flexibility and openness to change
  • A caring and nurturing attitude towards children
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Sensitivity and understanding
  • The ability to work well with others
  • Graduate Teaching Assistant
  • Supporting children on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Encouraging learning through play and investigation
  • Long Term & Full Time
