Job summary

Harbour Learning Trust is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our primary education team. You will support teaching and learning, assisting teachers, and may undertake 1:1 work to help pupils progress.

You will contribute to an inclusive, supportive environment across our schools, with safeguarding at the heart of practice and opportunities for professional development within a values-led trust.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting pupils in a primary setting.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding.
  • Ability to plan and deliver learning activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 support as required.

You will work closely with teachers and pupils, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. 1:1 work may be required at times. You will complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities. This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for the pupils and monitoring, assessing, recording and reporting on children's progress and development.
