Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across primary and secondary schools in Leeds. Roles are part time with flexible start dates, offering opportunities in both temporary and permanent placements.

Responsibilities

  • Support the class teacher with delivery of engaging lessons.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils.
  • Encourage pupil engagement, confidence and independence.
  • Support children with a range of learning needs, including SEN where required.
  • Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources.
  • Promote positive behaviour and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and other staff to support pupil progress.

Are you a caring, patient and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across supportive and inclusive primary and secondary schools in Leeds.

We work with a range of schools seeking committed individuals to support pupils in the classroom, on a 1:1 basis, and in small groups. Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable, as many of our schools require additional support for pupils with a range of needs.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils' learning, wellbeing and development within the classroom.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils who require additional help
  • Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence and independence
  • Supporting children with a range of learning needs, including SEN where required
  • Assisting with classroom preparation and learning resources
  • Promoting positive behaviour and helping to create an inclusive learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and other school staff to support pupil progress

Requirements

To be considered for this Teaching Assistant role, you will:
