TeacherActive is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support primary pupils across Leeds, covering EYFS to KS2. Roles range from general classroom support to 1:1 interventions, with flexible day-to-day placements and potential long-term opportunities.
Successful candidates will have experience with primary-aged children, and ideally Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualifications. Competitive pay, dedicated consultants, and CPD through My-Progression are offered.

Work is available on a flexible day-to-day basis as well as longer-term placements, with some schools looking to recruit permanently when they find the right member of staff.
The successful Teaching Assistant will:
- Have previous experience working with primary-aged children
- Ideally hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Be confident supporting pupils with literacy, numeracy and phonics
- Be comfortable delivering 1:1 and small-group support
- Have good behaviour management skills
- Be able to build positive relationships with pupils
- Be reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic
