TeacherActive Ltd is recruiting a flexible Primary Teaching Assistant for day-to-day supply cover at a Bradford primary school. The role covers KS1 and KS2, supporting teachers with daily activities, 1:1 and small group work, and helping pupils develop literacy and numeracy.
You will join a supportive team with access to 24/7 consultants, CPD, and competitive daily rates (£90–£105). This part-time, on-site contract offers a chance to gain classroom experience across key stages while contributing
Qualifications
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Experience supporting children across KS1/KS2 in a UK primary school.
- Experience providing 1:1 and small group support.
- Good understanding of Primary National Curriculum including literacy and numeracy.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with teaching staff.

The school supports pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2, providing opportunities to help children develop their confidence, independence and academic abilities within a positive learning environment.
The school is looking to take on a flexible Primary Teaching Assistant for day-to-day supply cover, with an immediate start available. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will be responsible for supporting class teachers with daily activities, providing 1:1 and small group support, assisting with literacy and numeracy interventions and helping to maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment.
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Experience supporting children across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2 within a UK primary school
- Experience providing 1:1 support, small group interventions and assisting with classroom activities
- A good understanding of the Primary National Curriculum, including literacy and numeracy
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively alongside teaching staff
- A patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to supporting children's learning and development
- A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 to help you with the easy onboarding process
- CPD courses and certificates as part of the My-Progression channel
