Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a permanent, full-time role at a welcoming primary school in Waltham Forest, East London.

Teaching Assistant - Permanent, Full-Time

Location: Waltham forest, East London

Salary: 1,900 - 2,300 per month

Start Date: Immediate / September

Contract: Permanent Full-time

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development. Working alongside experienced teachers, you will provide classroom support, assist pupils with their learning, and help create a positive and engaging environment where every child can thrive.

You will support pupils across the classroom, working on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, and during whole-class activities. The role is ideal for someone looking to build their experience within education or continue developing their career as a Teaching Assistant.

Requirements
Essential

  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
Desirable
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant
  • Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Degree in Education, Psychology, or a related subject
