Job summary

Simply Education Ltd are recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant at a brand-new specialist secondary school in Horsham to start in September 2026. The role supports autistic students aged 11-16 in a calm environment with small classes and personalised learning.

You will work closely with teachers, therapists and the SENCO to support students in and out of the classroom, helping with learning, building confidence and encouraging independence.

Teaching Assistant

Simply Education are delighted to be working with a brand-new specialist secondary school in Horsham to recruit a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026.

Location: Horsham, West Sussex

Salary: £22,996 - £24,568 per annum

Contract: Permanent | Full-Time | Term Time Only

Hours: 40 hours per week

Start Date: September 2026

About the Role

This specialist SEND school supports autistic young people aged 11-16 in a calm and supportive environment with small class sizes and a personalised approach to learning.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers, therapists and the SENCO to support students both in and out of the classroom. You'll help with learning, build confidence and encourage independence while also getting involved in outdoor learning, educational visits and other enrichment activities.
