Job summary

SANZA Teaching Agency are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support a KS2 pupil on a 1:1 SEN basis in Havering (Upminster). September 2026 start, full-time, term-time.

You will assist with sensory and emotional regulation, helping the student access lessons and participate fully in class. Experience with autism and a calm, patient approach is beneficial; training will be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with autism.
• Ability to support sensory and emotional regulation.
• KS2 classroom experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support KS2 pupil 1:1 across lessons.
• Assist with sensory strategies and regulation.

The role:

The role will be to support key students across KS2. The students have Autism and need particular support with sensory and emotional regulation.
