Zusammenfassung

Stansfield Academy, part of Wave Multi-Academy Trust in London, is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 4 to 16 with social, emotional and mental health needs on a fixed-term contract to July 2027.

The role is term-time only, 32.5 hours per week, with an emphasis on teamwork, excellent communication, patience and resilience to help pupils access learning and participate in activities.

A successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and safeguarding checks.

Qualifikationen

• Experience supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.

Aufgaben

• Support pupils with SEMH to access learning and participate in activities.
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and supervision.
• Monitor pupil wellbeing and support behaviour management as appropriate.

This Teaching Assistant post sits at Stansfield Academy, an Alternative Provision setting for pupils aged 4 to 16 run by Wave Multi-Academy Trust, on a fixed-term contract to July 2027. The work centres on supporting pupils who have social, emotional and mental health needs. The role is term-time only at 32.5 hours a week, with a start date of 7 September 2026. An enhanced DBS check is required for every offer.
