Stansfield Academy, part of Wave Academy Trust, is seeking a dedicated science teacher for a 0.8FTE role, with hours to discuss. The post focuses on pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, in a supportive environment.

Applicants should bring excellent teamwork and communication, patience and resilience. Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK are required, with visa sponsorship not available. The start is ASAP, with safeguarding and Trust values at the core.

Qualifications

• Experience with teaching in SEND settings or SEMH needs is preferred.
• Ability to adapt lessons and support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.

Science teacher post at Stansfield Academy, which sits within the Wave Academy Trust, a group of alternative provision, medical and special academies serving vulnerable pupils aged 4 to 19 across Devon and Cornwall. The post is part-time at 0.8, with hours open to discussion, and centres on teaching pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs. Visa sponsorship is not available, so applicants need the right to work in the UK. The start is as soon as possible, and an enhanced DBS check is required.
