Job summary

David Ross Education Trust seeks an individual to work with children across Fairfield Academy in Scartho near Grimsby, supporting learning and inclusion for all pupils, including those with SEND.

The role emphasises safeguarding, equality of opportunity, and a positive learning environment, aligned with Trust policies and CPD opportunities. Term-time hours apply with a salary on the NJC scale.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
• Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education, or other relevant qualifications in childcare.
• GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English or equivalent level of competency.
• Experience of working with relevant age groups within a learning environment.
• Experience of working with children with SEND.
• Honesty and Integrity.
• Team working skills and someone who would be a positive role model to our pupils.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across the school, including those with SEND, to ensure access to learning and development.
• Promote inclusive practices and positive behaviours in line with the Trust’s safeguarding policies.
