St Mary’s CE Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative, motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic team. We are particularly looking for someone who enjoys working 1:1 as the majority of this role will be working with one fantastic child in KS 2.
Teaching Assistants at St Mary’s also provide lunchtime cover on a rota basis
You must enjoy working as part of a team and have a great sense of humour. You must be determined to help our children progress and have the initiative needed to personalise support. You will have excellent behaviour management and a nurturing approach. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference and work with a strong team.
Previous experience of working with primary aged children with a range of needs is desirable. Please state on the application which interventions you are trained to or have delivered. Your literacy and numeracy skills must be of a high standard with a good understanding of the national curriculum in both subjects. Training and support will be provided as required.
