Job summary

St John's Catholic Primary School, Poulton-Le-Fylde is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Year 4 and Year 6. The role is 22 hours per week over 4 days, 9am-12pm and 1pm-3.30pm, in a warm, safeguarding-focused school.

You will work flexibly, motivate groups of children, and contribute to a caring environment that values every child. Closing date for applications is Monday 28 September 2026 with interviews w/c 5 October 2026.

The position available:

22 hours per week, to be worked over 4 days. 9am - 12pm in Year 6 and 1pm - 3.30pm in Year 4.

The roles offer a fantastic opportunity for a enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to make a real difference to our pupils and the wider school community.

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who is flexible and adaptable, able to use their own initiative, and able to motivate and inspire individuals and groups of children.
