Job description

GSL Education are working closely with a secondary school in North Manchester who are looking to appoint somebody to cover absence on a casual basis. School would like the consistency of the same person covering absences across school.

This is a unique role and is perfect for somebody looking for day to day/casual work.

We are looking for somebody that is adaptable and enjoys a challenge. A confident teaching assistant who enjoys working with children from Year 7- Year 11.

Teaching Assistant responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the class teachers to deliver lessons and activities
  • Deliver group interventions
  • Communicate professionally and in a friendly manner with staff, pupils, and parents
  • Promote inclusion for all pupils
  • Support the management of pupil behaviour
  • Provide additional support for children as required
