Job summary

Step Teachers Ltd in London is seeking a KS1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and assist lesson delivery. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, with a November/December start on a long-term temp-to-perm basis.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of school experience; Level 2 TA qualification is beneficial but not essential. You will help foster a safe, inclusive learning environment and support literacy, numeracy, and phonics development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year's experience in a school setting.
• Experience supporting children within Key Stage 1 is desirable.

Teaching Assistant Duties:

• Support pupils across Key Stage 1 within the classroom

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

• A minimum of one year's experience working within a school setting is essential
• Experience supporting children within Key Stage 1 is highly desirable
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is beneficial but not essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
