Job summary

Step Teachers is recruiting Teaching Assistants for flexible short-term and long-term placements across Somerset and surrounding areas. You will support pupils in diverse school settings, helping them access learning and thrive in an inclusive environment.

Ideal candidates have previous school-based experience, patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting pupils in a school setting.
• Understanding of strategies for supporting children with a range of needs.
