Job summary

Ormiston Cliff Park Primary Academy is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team. The role offers 30 hours per week during term time plus 5 staff development days (39 weeks) on a fixed-term basis until August 2027.

You will support children in the classroom, assist with inclusion, and contribute to early language development. You will work closely with the class teacher to help pupils reach their potential and adapt your practice to support learners of all ages, bringing

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary setting is desirable.
• Ability to work with children to support identified learning needs.
• Experience with Inclusion and Early Year Foundation Stage is advantageous.

We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team who are dedicated to providing the best possible opportunities to our students.The role is offered working 30 hours per week, term time plus 5 staff development days (39 working weeks) for a fixed term until August 2027.

As our Teaching Assistant, in liaison with the class teacher, you will work with children to target identified learning needs, providing practical support in the classroom supporting our children to achieve their potential. You will be supporting our work in Inclusion and across the Early Year Foundation Stage, experience with supporting early language development would also be advantageous.

You will have a genuine passion and belief in the potential of every child and be able to relate to children and adults within the learning environment and be versatile, resilient and able to adapt your practice wherever necessary to support children of all ages.
