Education Impact Academy Trust (EIAT) invites applications for a Teaching Assistant position at The Hive College in Erdington, Birmingham. You will work closely with teachers to support learners with a range of needs, contributing to an inclusive and positive learning environment.

The role includes mentoring students, supporting with English and maths, and assisting with personal and social development to prepare for adulthood. EY supports and safe, supportive practices are core to the role.

EIAT is a thriving Multi Academy Trust in North Birmingham incorporating The Hive College, Wilson Stuart School, Queensbury School Mayfield School, Lime Tree Nursery and Blue Sky Nursery. The Hive College is based in Erdington, Birmingham and is a Specialist Further Education College for learners aged 19-25 years with Special Educational Needs and disabilities. As part of our on-going development of a highly successful specialist college, we have a Teaching Assistant vacancy to join our team of professional and dedicated people. • The ability to support teachers in meeting the needs of all students, including mentoring, pastoral care and assisting with the physical care of students as and when required

• The ability to support students in the classroom and whilst out in the community, This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement of the role.

Education Impact Academy Trust (EIAT) is three Special Schools and a Specialist College (19-25). We also have two mainstream day nurseries.

You will work with a team of staff to support children and young people to reach their full educational potential. We believe that 'Better Never Ends'.
