Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Year 1 and Year 2 in a Bristol-based primary school. The role is suitable for someone who is reliable, enthusiastic and keen to contribute to a calm, productive learning environment.

• A relevant TA qualification or equivalent.

• Experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1.
• Confidence supporting learning within Year 1 and Year 2.

Salary: £14.25 - £18 per hour (Permanent)

Are you an experienced TA with a passion for supporting children throughout their learning and development?

Do you have experience working with pupils across Year 1 and Year 2?

Are you confident supporting classroom learning and working alongside the class teacher to help pupils achieve their full potential?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Primary School based in Bristol, BS7, who are looking to appoint a dedicated TA. The school is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual who can become a valued part of the school community and provide consistent support to pupils.

The school is looking to take on an HLTA on a full-time, 5-day-per-week, temp-to-perm basis. The successful TA will work across Year 1 and Year 2, supporting pupils with their learning, assisting with classroom activities and working closely with teaching staff to provide effective classroom support.

The successful HLTA will have:

• A relevant TA qualification or equivalent
• Experience working within a Primary School setting
• Experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1
• Confidence supporting learning within Year 1 and Year 2
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
