An established industry player is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their team. This role involves supporting pupils with complex educational needs, particularly those with SEMH and SEN. Location: New Barn School, The Long Barn, Welford, RG20 8HZ
Salary: £22,300 per annum (not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (includes a 5pm finish)
We are seeking dedicated full-time Teaching Assistants/Classroom Assistants to join our team at New Barn School. You will work directly with pupils and young people, supporting their educational and emotional needs, especially those with complex SEMH needs and SEN.
Your responsibilities include preparing learning materials, running classroom activities, and supporting pupils' emotional and physical development. Experience in the SEMH sector and with pupils with SEN is highly desirable, and a therapeutic approach to teaching is encouraged.
New Barn School caters for SEMH pupils aged 6-19 across three sites. We aim to empower neurodiverse pupils to build bright futures within a safe and nurturing environment.
