About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work alongside subject teachers to support learning across different departments. You'll help students understand tasks, stay focused during lessons and access learning activities suited to their needs. Whether you're supporting individuals or small groups, your contribution will help pupils participate more confidently and make steady progress, including with their GCSE preparation where appropriate.

Responsibilities
  • Support students with classroom tasks and learning activities across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Work with subject teachers to reinforce lesson content and instructions.
  • Provide individual and small-group support to pupils who need additional help.

  • Confidence supporting students with different abilities and learning needs.
  • The ability to work effectively with subject teachers and other school staff.
  • A genuine interest in helping secondary-aged pupils succeed.
