Job summary

All Saints Academy Darfield is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a fixed-term role. The post is 25.5 hours per week across four days (Tuesday to Friday), during term time plus two INSET days, commencing 3 November 2026.

The role involves 1-1 support, small group work, and general classroom assistance to help pupils achieve excellent outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience across at least two key stages (EYFS, KS1, KS2) and be committed to the school’s ethos.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children with special educational needs and challenging behaviour.
• Experience of working in a school setting.
• Two relevant key stages: EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• GCSE English and Maths at minimum level.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, excellent and committed Teaching Assistant to join our successful team at All Saints Academy Darfield. This is a fixed term position and will involve supporting children on a 1-1 basis, in small groups and within the classroom. You will work alongside a dedicated team to secure the very best outcomes for all our children. Preferably, the successful candidate will have experience of working across at least two relevant key stages (EYFS, KS1, KS2).
