The successfully appointed teaching assistant will be required to provide support to individual pupils and groups of pupils, encouraging improvements in behaviour for learning. Classes are made up of between 6 and 12 students, all of whom have been permanently excluded from mainstream education. To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience working within a PRU.
This mixed, all-through pupil referral unit caters to under 100 students. In their last Ofsted inspection, they were rated GOOD. The provision, based close to central Croydon, caters for permanently excluded young people and provides timely short-term interventions for pupils struggling to manage their learning and behaviour in mainstream settings. Located near a station serving the Southern line and Thameslink, this school is easily accessible from all areas of South London.
