Teaching Assistant - Year 6 Support - SEN Focus - Tottenham

A friendly and high-achieving primary school based in the centre of Tottenham is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their Year 6 team from September 2025, supporting a pupil with SEN on a one-to-one basis as well as providing general classroom support. The school will be trialling candidates over the next few weeks with a view to confirming placements before the summer holidays.

This Teaching Assistant role is essential to the pupil's academic and emotional success. You will help implement strategies to aid focus, build confidence, and provide emotional support during lessons and unstructured times. The Teaching Assistant will also liaise with the SENCO, parents, and outside agencies to ensure consistent support is in place.

Key Requirements For This Teaching Assistant Role

Experience supporting SEN pupils, particularly with Autism or ADHD
Strong communication and team-working skills
A proactive approach to learning and inclusion
Confidence supporting upper KS2 curriculum
