Qualifications

  • Must support the Teacher in planning and delivery of learning activities.

Working Pattern: Term time only (38 weeks)

Actual Starting Salary (calculated pro rata): £17,985 + fringe allowance £522 per annum

Salaries are paid in 12 equal monthly instalments

Teaching Assistants play a crucial role in the classroom. We are seeking an individual who can support our teachers and motivate and encourage our KS2 pupils.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is calm, confident and has the skills to be able to support classroom activities safely and can create a positive learning environment.

The role of Teaching Assistant is crucial in promoting the learning and personal development of all pupils; including but not exclusively, those with special education needs. To succeed in this role, you will need to:

  • Provide support to the Teacher in the planning and evaluation of learning activities and support the delivery of learning activities
  • Motivate and encourage students by providing levels of individual attention, reassurance and help with learning tasks
  • Consistently and effectively implement agreed behaviour management strategies.
  • Cover Lunch duty
