Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: Crawley
Working Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time
Contract Type: Long term, Term-Time Only

Overview:
Randstad Education is looking for motivated and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to join our network of partner schools in Crawley. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting classroom teaching and helping students thrive in a safe and stimulating environment.

Main Duties:

• Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities

• Provide one-on-one and small group support for students who need additional help

• Encourage a positive and inclusive classroom culture

• Support behaviour management and promote a well-ordered learning space

• Help prepare teaching materials and classroom resources

• Offer targeted support to children with special educational needs (SEN)

• Take part in school functions, parent meetings, and staff events as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting

• Kind, patient, and empathetic approach to student support

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and pupils

• Educational or childcare qualifications are advantageous but not essential

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child wellbeing
