Job summary

Woodstone Community Primary School is seeking a dynamic Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning. The role is a permanent part-time position (30 hours/week) with a 39-week term, based in Ravenstone within the National Forest.

Start date 14 September 2026, with interviews on 8 September 2026. The successful candidate will have EYFS and SEN experience (preferred) and demonstrate a proactive, resilient, and flexible approach, collaborating with colleagues and engaging in the wider life

An opportunity has arisen at Woodstone Primary School for a dynamic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team.

Permanent 30 hours per week Monday - Friday

We are a friendly, welcoming school in Ravenstone - a small village within the National Forest. We are looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team providing support for teaching and learning

Start date: 14th September 2026 (or as soon as possible after this date) Salary: Grade 6, Point 9 £13.46/hr Actual £18,039.24 (Pay award pending) 30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (includes INSET days) Monday— Friday— 8.30am - 3.30pm Applications close: Friday 4th September 2026 at 9.00am

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • EYFS and SEN experience.
  • This is preferred but is not essential a love for children being proactive, resilient and flexible positivity a ‘team player’ attitude an approachable nature a passion for supporting children with learning differences.
  • the skills to work collaboratively alongside colleagues a willingness to be involved in the wider life of the school

Interviews will take place on Tuesday 8th September 2026

These will be held at Woodstone Community Primary School.
