Job summary

Churchill Academy & Sixth Form in Churchill, Somerset is seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant to join our Student Services team. The role focuses on supporting pupils, including those with SEND, to access learning and participate fully in school life.

You will work alongside dedicated colleagues, contribute to safeguarding and well-being, and help create an inclusive environment where every student can thrive.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with students with SEND.
• Excellent communication skills with students, parents and staff.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist pupils with learning activities and access to the curriculum.
• Support student welfare and contribute to safeguarding procedures.
