Chulmleigh Primary School is seeking a devoted Teaching Assistant to support Year 6 pupils in the run-up to SATS. The role works under the Head of School and Year 6 class teacher and is a fixed-term post.

The position runs Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 12:00pm, from November 2026 to 28 May 2027. Strong English and Maths skills, along with excellent communication and a collaborative, inclusive approach, are essential.

We are seeking to appoint anenthusiastic, committed, patient and motivated Teaching Assistant to join oursupport team at Chulmleigh Primary School. The successful candidate willprovide additional support in our Year 6 class.

You will be tenacious and committedto supporting the needs and development of individual pupils whilst being anexcellent team player and communicator. Previousexperience of working with pupils with different abilities would be anadvantage.

The successful candidate will workunder the direction of the Head of School and Year 6 class teacher to supportour Year 6 pupils as they prepare for their SATS assessments.

This is afixed term role available from November 2026 to 28th May 2027. Theworking pattern will be Monday to Friday 9.00am to 12.00pm.
