Job summary

Ivy Resource Group in Cheltenham is recruiting Teaching Assistants to support pupils in Key Stage 3 and 4 across secondary schools. You will work alongside teachers to promote engagement, build confidence and deliver tailored support throughout the school day. The role is full-time and long-term.

Requirements include at least 30 days' experience with children or young people; no formal qualifications required. Competitive daily pay and ongoing SEN sector support are provided.

Salary: £90 - £115 per day (Holiday Pay - 12.07% of your day rate is accrued into your holiday pot)

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a Secondary Schools in Cheltenham. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 who will benefit from additional guidance, encouragement, and tailored support throughout the school day.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to help students engage with learning, build confidence, and develop positive relationships. Every day is different, making this an ideal role for someone who is adaptable, resilient, and committed to supporting young people.

Key Responsibilities

• Support KS3 and KS4 students throughout the school day, both in and out of the classroom.

• No formal qualifications are required-your experience, enthusiasm, and commitment are what matter most.
