Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a Secondary Teaching Assistant to support pupils with ALN at a dedicated Cardiff centre. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a minimum daily rate of £92.59 in Cardiff.

You will assist KS3/KS4 students with emotional, social, and behavioural needs, helping them regain self-regulation to return to mainstream classes, and collaborate with subject teachers and ALN coordinators.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in working with secondary pupils with ALN, emotional wellbeing, or behavioural needs.
• Strong communication skills, resilience, and a patient approach.
• Relevant Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
• Active EWC registration, or willingness to register before starting.

Responsibilities
