Job summary

Aspire People Limited is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support children across primary, secondary and SEN schools in Cambridge. You will join a flexible team offering day-to-day supply and long-term placements, with immediate start and opportunities to work in multiple settings.

The role suits graduates or those with relevant TA qualifications who value safeguarding, strong communication and a nurturing approach to learning. DBS checks are desirable.

Qualifications

  • Hold a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, childcare or related field).
  • Experience working in a school or educational setting.
  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN.
  • Background in childcare, youth work, coaching or mentoring.
  • Graduate looking to gain experience in education.

Responsibilities

  • Support teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities
  • Work with individuals or small groups of pupils to support learning
  • Assist in managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Provide additional support to pupils with SEN where required
  • Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment

Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic, adaptable and committed Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary, secondary and SEN (Special Educational Needs) schools in the Cambridge area. This role offers flexibility, allowing candidates to work in the settings they feel most comfortable in.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people in their education and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities
  • Work with individuals or small groups of pupils to support learning

Candidate Requirements
