Limehurst Academy, part of East Midlands Education Trust, is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant for a permanent Part Time post within term-time only (39 weeks) 36.25 hours per week, 8:00am to 3:45pm, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will join a committed learning support team led by a SENDCo and Assistant SENDCo, providing inclusion support and helping students reach their highest potential.

This post is a crucial one to the school. You will be part of a brilliant learning support team, led by a SENDCo and Assistant SENDCo. The team also includes twelve teaching assistants and two apprentice learning support assistants. You will have a passion for inclusion, and a commitment to ensuring that all students achieve to their highest potential.

Our 2025 results were, again, very strong. Over 50% of our students achieved a Grade 5+ in English and Maths. 41% of our SEN students achieved a Grade 4+ in English and Maths. As has been the case for many years now, all of our headline measures are well above national averages. We are committed to improving yet again this academic year, and we are determined to do so.
