Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors to be placed in Caerphilly secondary schools in South Wales. Pay ranges from £93/day for Teaching Assistants and £120/day for Cover Supervisors.

Roles can be full-time or part-time with placements lasting to the end of the academic year, and strong potential to continue. No experience is required to start; full training is provided and a clear path from TA to Cover Supervisor is offered.

• No prior experience required for initial training requires

Responsibilities

• Support pupils one-to-one and in small groups
• Help deliver lessons alongside the class teacher
• Support pupils with SEN, behavioural needs or additional learning needs

• Lead whole classes during teacher absence
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons with confidence
• Keep pupils engaged and on task
• Give feedback to teaching staff after lessons

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
