Affinity Workforce in the Bristol area is seeking full-time Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible. The roles involve 1:1 support and classroom assistance, following EHCPs where required, with experience in UK schools essential.

Candidates should have strong literacy and numeracy, great communication, and a flexible, positive attitude. Training and safeguarding courses are provided, along with CV help and a dedicated consultant.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in UK school settings.
• Experience supporting the KS3/KS4 curriculum.
• Ability to follow EHCPs for students as required.

Job description

Affinity Partnerships are working in collaboration with Secondary Schools in Bristol who are looking for full-time Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible.

The schools want to give their students the best chance of success, so the individual must be, charismatic, inspirational and encouraging to the students that they will be working with.

These roles will include work on a 1:1 basis, as well as support across the class and will need to follow EHCPs of some of the students. Successful individuals must have experience working with children and in UK school settings.

The successful applicant:

• Have a sound understanding of Secondary Education
• Have excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills.
• Confident supporting the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
• Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum
• Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour
• Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties both in smalls groups and 1:1.
• Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
