Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bridport to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for working with children and a commitment to helping them thrive academically and emotionally.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-class support to pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Assist the teacher with lesson delivery, behaviour management, and classroom organisation
  • Offer one-to-one or small group support for pupils with additional needs
  • Help prepare resources and support learning activities
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children (school, nursery, tutoring, or youth work)
  • A calm, patient, and proactive approach to learning support
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A passion for education and pupil development
  • A valid DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
