Southmead Primary School is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant for a fixed term from 7 September 2026 to 31 August 2027. The role is 30 hours per week, 38 weeks (term time) 8:30 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
Monday to Friday, with morning break and lunch break. Payment is £13.47–£13.69 per hour (£25,989–£26,403 FTE). The successful candidate will support pupils with a range of needs, deliver small group interventions, and contribute to an inclusive, motivating curriculum.
We are looking for a motivated team player ideally with experience of working with children with a range of needs both individually and in small groups. A positive and encouraging attitude is essential, as is kindness, patience and an ability to use your initiative. The role will include some small group interventions and may include some class cover for suitably qualified candidates.
