Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students at a specialist school in the Rivington area of Bolton. This rewarding role involves helping learners with additional learning, social, emotional, and behavioural needs to overcome barriers to education.

The role emphasises supporting individuals and groups, promoting positive behaviour, and building confidence and independence while working closely with staff to deliver engaging activities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in any capacity.
• Patient, resilient, and proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build positive relationships and act as a role model.
• Experience in education, tutoring, sports coaching, youth work, mentoring, care, or voluntary work (desirable but not essential).
• Genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their full potential.
