Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Teaching Assistant for Rivington & Blackrod High School in Bolton. You will help students thrive by supporting teachers and working with individuals and small groups to achieve learning objectives.

Assist students with additional learning, behavioural, or social needs, encourage positive behaviour, and help prepare learning materials. Monitor progress and contribute to a safe, inclusive classroom environment. Daily rate 95–110 GBP.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational, coaching, mentoring, or support capacity.
• Patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about helping students succeed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Adaptable, proactive, and able to work effectively in a team.
• Secondary school experience is desirable but not essential.
